As someone who is anxious I know how it feels. ![]() I'd love to learn to help people feel better in some way. Tbh I'd love to also learn how to read people in general and maybe help them somehow. Sorry that was longer than intended but you're a body language expert and I've been seeking help in that area. I know in various courts of law (I'm in the UK and don't know of they're used her) they are not used as evidence for a very good reason (in fact why they still use them at all I don't know except maybe as a psychological tool to pressurize someone into confessing). I've tried asking how people with autism or struggle with anxiety are treated in these situations because it's worrying especially if a lie detector is used and the potential of failing it even if innocent. I carry a card which explains my autism but I'm worried that I'd be seen as suspicious when i'm not (one incident occurred recently where a security guard watched me because I exclaimed out loud when I screwed up with some change at a self service checkout, he watched me so intensely I just mentally froze out of panic since being watched freaks me out, even though I did nothing wrong). I'm broke but any online sources would be great (I'm also dyslexic so written needs pictures). I'm autistic so I've always struggled a little in that area but I've come some way. Hi I know I'm late to jump in but I'm interested in learning more about body language and facial expressions, especially in the context of lying and criminal behavior.
